Can you please guide me the steps to close the existing projects and create a new project with the same actuals and plans reflecting the old project.
Our company has acquired other company and as a part of integration of SAP we have to close the projects in their native system and have to create in new system.
It will be appreciated if you can provide detail steps.
I know that we need to pick out all the open PO's, open Production Orders, open PR's, sales orders and create new for the ongoing projects.
But I dont know the steps to create a new production order and copy the values.
For Ex. There is a production order with planned costs of 100 USD and 50 USD actual is performed(10 USD in 30.01.2016, 15 USD in 31.06.2016, 25 USD in 01.02.2016). Now how to close that old Production order and how to post the actual cost and planned cost on the newly created production order specific to dates ?
Is there any LSMW or BDC I need to pick and use ?
The question I have asked is only for production order I need the same for PO;s, PR's etc....
Also how about the transfer of costs from WBS element 1 to WBS element 2.
It will be great help if you can let me know the process.
